Asphalt Resurfacing & Overlay
A fresh driving surface over a sound base, for a fraction of the cost of tearing everything out.
When a surface is worn, cracked, and tired but the base underneath is still solid, you do not always need a full tear-out. Resurfacing lays a new layer of asphalt over the existing pavement, giving you a smooth, fresh driving surface for a fraction of the cost of complete replacement.
The catch is that an overlay is only as good as what it is laid on. We evaluate the subgrade and existing surface first, because putting new asphalt over a failing base is a temporary fix that costs you twice. If an overlay is the right call, we make it. If it is not, we tell you.

Costs less than replacement
Reuse the sound base you already have and pay for a new surface, not a full rebuild.
Honest evaluation first
We check the subgrade and surface so you are not paying for an overlay that will fail.
Smooth, uniform finish
A fresh, level driving surface that looks and drives like new.
How We Do It
Evaluate the base
Inspect the subgrade and existing surface to confirm an overlay will hold.
Prep the surface
Clean, patch, and where needed mill problem areas so the new layer bonds well.
Lay the overlay
Pave and compact a new asphalt surface over the prepared base.
Common Questions
How do I know if I need resurfacing or full replacement?
It comes down to the base. Surface cracking and wear over a solid base are good candidates for an overlay. Widespread base failure, pumping, or deep structural cracking usually means replacement. We evaluate it before recommending either.
Should the old surface be milled first?
Sometimes. Milling restores grade and creates a clean bonding surface, which matters at transitions, curbs, and doorways. We will tell you whether your job needs it.
